Lovely piece of kit

I’m definitely not a monitor expert (this is my first one above 1080p or 60Hz) so with the help of watching a fair few YouTube videos and reading many a Reddit thread, I decided on this monitor.

For what I was looking for (4K, high refresh rate, optimally some level of HDR support) the X= brand one was a good cheaper but I didn’t want to spend that much on a brand I didn’t know, and I’d seen some less than ideal reviews of the Samsung Odyssey G7. So this one seemed to be a good mix of reputable brand, price, feature and well reviewed.

Really happy with it! Getting content in 4K with the smooth high refresh rate is lovely.

Maybe I got lucky, but at least for me there were no discernible dead pixels (I just used those sites which cycle between various strong colours, not sure if there are better tools).
