Future proofing PSU

Happy with this PSU. Picked it because it had ATX 3.0 and PCIE 5 standards including the 12VHPWR connector without the need for any adaptors. There is an option for silent mode should you want it as well.

Great future proofed and quiet Power Supply!

I needed a new PSU for my build and bought this as it didn't cost much more and had the new ATX 3.0 and PCIE 5.0 specs.

The 1000W power is way more than I need but the beauty of this his power unit is that I believe the silent fan mode kicks in at less than 50% load. In my use case this means it will always be silent under 500W until I upgrade to a more power hungry CPU/GPU.

Effectively I have a 100% silent build now. Passive CPU cooling, passive GPU cooling and a silent PSU. Case fans are off unless system is under super heavy load.

Has worked flawlessly since installed.

Ordered on Thursday and arrived Friday, with a pack of Haribo, so top marks to Computer Orbit.
As for the PSU, just finished installing it today, and it is incredibly silent compared to my last one, also the love design and aesthetics. Only negative I have, is the quality of the ATX cable, but that is a minor inconvenience at best.
If you're thinking of future proofing your build, on a reasonable budget, this is a good addition for your upcoming Gaming build.

Product working well so far, lengths of the cables are good and with most of them being flat are able to be easily tucked away on the backside of your case.

Something to take note of though, is you will either want to register the item before installing it, or take a picture of all of the stickers on the item that have any sort of text on them as you will need some of the information from there when registering the product on MSI's website.

For the store itself, very good service. I accidentally order the non-PCIE5 version on Saturday, left them a message almost immediately through their 'chat with us' button prompt, and got a response and resolution early Sunday morning.
