MICRO-ATX STYLE

The Jonsbo D31 Standard Screen PC Case balances compact sizing and sleek style. This chassis has a Micro-ATX form factor, with an overall small footprint yet a spacious 31.3L volume. The steel panels are smooth with distinct lines for a crisp and clean finish. Available in two colours, this model is fresh white. Plus, the tempered glass side panel offers an amazing view into the chassis, perfect for showcasing all your high-end hardware.

LCD SCREEN

The stand-out feature of the Jonsbo D31 Screen is the 8” LCD screen integrated on the front panel. Occupying a third of the panel, this display has a 1280 x 800 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 16:10 aspect ratio. This screen can be used to display hardware statuses or even your favourite animated wallpaper!* With 16.7 million colours at its disposal, all images are crisp and vibrant. The screen, itself, is protected by a 1.1mm thick scratch resistant glass, with a 6 Mohs hardness rating. Additionally, on the side are controls to adjust brightness, as well as a power button.

What’s more, it can be removed from the case and used a second monitor with your gaming PC. With both Mini HDMI and USB-C connectivity, you have ample means to integrate this screen into your system. Should you remove the screen from your case, there is a replacement mesh panel included within the scope of delivery, designed to fill the gap the LCD screen leaves.

*No software is pre-installed. Jonsbo recommends Wallpaper Engine and AIDA64.

OUTSTANDING AIRFLOW

There is extensive cooling support throughout the Jonsbo D31 Screen. To start with, the top has 92% coverage of high-density mesh, facilitating superior exhaust performance. What’s more, much of the internal structure also sports ventilation, to enhance airflow throughout the case.

You can instal an array of fans and AIO radiators in the Jonsbo D31 Screen. The top panel can accommodate either three 120mm or 140mm fans or an AIO radiator up to 360mm. This is also true of the bottom panel. Both the front and rear panels can hold a singular 120mm fan. Plus, there is clearance for a CPU cooler up to 168mm tall. Overall, this allows for a versatile thermal solution, whether you opt for air- or water-cooling.

POWER AND GRAPHICS

The Jonsbo D31 is a compact chassis and can accommodate motherboards up to the Micro-ATX form factor. There are four expansion slots to support PCIe devices, such as graphics cards. Naturally, with its small footprint, there are a few limitations on what hardware can be installed. It should be noted that three-slot GPUs need to be installed on the second PCIe expansion slot to enable the standard cooling configuration on the bottom panel. However, thanks to the four power supply mounting options, you have incredible flexibility in terms of the graphics card and PSU.

The power supply is mounted onto the front panel and can orientated with the air intake facing into the chamber or into the frame. There is subtle ventilation down the side of the front panel to enable air intake, should you opt for the latter. On top of this, there are four mounting positions available, which will determine what size GPU and PSU you can use in this build.

Level One: This is the topmost mounting positing. With a 140mm long PSU, you can instal a graphics card up to 400mm long. Should you need a larger power supply, between 150mm and 160mm, then the graphics card size will range between 342mm and 360mm. As the PSU is near the top of the chassis, you are limited to a 280mm AIO or two fans upon the ceiling.
Level Two: This places PSU 15mm lower than the top position. Putting a PSU measuring 140mm to 160mm in this slot enables you to install a GPU between 342mm and 360mm. Plus, you can fit the full three 120mm fans on the top panel.
Level Three: This mount is 21.6mm lower than level two. With a 140mm power supply, you can instal a GPU between 342mm and 360mm. If you are installing an NVIDIA RTX 40 Series graphics card, this is the recommended level and PSU size. Should you need a larger power supply, between 150mm and 160mm, then the GPU clearance reduces to 335mm. At this height, there is also clearance for 360mm AIO radiators on the top panel.
Level Four: The lowest of the mounts, this is 15mm below level three. Here you can mount a PSU between 140mm and 160mm with a GPU up to 330mm long. There is also ample space for a 360mm AIO radiator on the top panel.

STORAGE AND I/O

Providing you with a flexible storage solution, the Jonsbo D31 Screen accommodates three drives. On the bottom of the chassis, there is a mount for a singular 3.5” HDD. Upon the back of the motherboard tray, there are two further mounts for 2.5” SSDs. Support for both speed and capacity. Hardware is incredibly easy to instal, as well, thanks to the toolless design this case sports. It disassembles into nine sections, creating ease of access to every part of the chassis.

The Jonsbo D31 Screen sports great connectivity. Placed towards the lower edge of the front panel, the I/O features a USB 3.0 and USB-C port, as well as an audio and mic jack. Plus, there is a seamless power button placed above them, to keep the design sleek and fresh.

Nice surprise

Surprisingly well designed case with no sharp corners, passable precision of fitting, and a 1280x800 HDMI screen to display your holiday photos.

Some reviews moan about the quality of the latches, but with delicate treatment the gave me ZERO issues.

Usage of demciflex (or similar high-density) filters recommended on all intakes - the case being mostly a metal mesh is a total dust magnet, and the supplied filter in the floor is better suited as a fly screen. If you're going to get those nylon filters, with a help of a craft knife, an extra 280x140mm one will fit the front (cutouts for PSU mounting and a screw), the rest depends on the fans you're going to put at the bottom of the case. I used another 280x140, as that was the size of the two fans I've put there.

The internal cables are black, so if you're looking for all-white build, you need to either re-sleeve, or paint them over.
