With the PCEM2-N , AXAGON offers an internal adapter that connects an NVMe M.2 SSD to the PC via a PCI Express slot. This is particularly useful if the mainboard does not have a corresponding M.2 slot or if these are already occupied. The adapter enables the use of single and double-sided M.2 SSDs in x16, x8 and x4 PCIe 3.0 slots.


The PCI Express bus powers the PCEM2-N directly, eliminating the need for an external source. Thermal pads and copper-plated ventilation openings help to better dissipate the waste heat generated by the M.2 SSDs under load. Two LED displays provide information about whether the connection exists and about the activity of the data transfer.
