New Design for Modern Needs
The Phanteks Eclipse G400A boasts many of the features that made previous Eclipse series popular, including an outstanding airflow design, superb styling, and excellent hardware compatibility. Building on that foundation, the G400A features even better support for the latest components. The spacious main chamber of the Eclipse G400A offers ample room for mounting large E-ATX motherboards, including MSI Project Zero and ASUS BTF motherboards with rear-mounted connectors.
To support these groundbreaking motherboards, the Eclipse G400A is equipped with an innovative cable management system. The rear compartment features multiple channels that lead directly to the passthroughs from the main chamber. Along these channels, there are multiple Velcro straps which can be used to secure your wires in place. As such, your main chamber will be almost completely free of visible cables. Furthermore, the rear chamber will also be kept clean and tidy.
Alongside this, the main chamber allows for the installation of other large components. With seven expansion slots and 415mm clearance for GPUs, there is room to mount a premium graphics card, such as the NVIDIA RTX 4090.
Uncompromising Cooling
Maintaining your hardware at optimum temperatures is easy with the Eclipse G400A case, as it offers multiple features to enhance cooling performance. To start, both the front and top panels of the case employ highly porous mesh, to allow air to flow freely into the chassis. Additionally, both sides of the PSU chamber boast mesh panelling, for even more access to fresh air.
To create the ideal airflow, the Eclipse G400A offers seven fan mounting points. At the front of the case, you can install three 140mm fans, which come with three pre-installed Phanteks M25 Gen 2 fans. The rear can facilitate either a 120mm or a 140mm fan and includes another pre-installed M25 Gen 2 140mm fan. In addition to these, there is room for three 120mm fans to be secured to the midplate, perfect for channelling air directly into your GPU.
For radiator support, the G400A offers two locations, one on the top and the rear panel. The top of the case features an innovative radiator compartment that has room for a 360mm radiator. Alongside this, you can also mount three 120mm fans, without interfering with the rest of your gaming hardware. Moreover, you can also install a 120mm radiator to the rear panel for extra cooling performance.
NexLinq Ecosystem
The Eclipse G400A is part of the exciting new Phanteks NexLinq ecosystem that makes controlling your cooling and lighting simple. NexLinq includes a wide range of hardware including fans, coolers, and RGB lighting. These can all be linked to a Phanteks NexLinq Hub, equipped with multiple PWM and DRGB outputs, and connected to your motherboard for easy software control.
Alongside this fantastic range of hardware, the NexLinq ecosystem includes a lightweight app. Using this program, you can take complete control of all your cooling and lighting hardware. Configure your fans using either automatic or custom fan curves that adjusts fan speeds based on either your CPU or GPU temperatures, ensuring whisper quiet performance when idle and optimum thermals when under load. What’s more, with a wide range of lighting effects in a variety of colours, you can customise your NexLinq hardware to perfectly to match your gaming aesthetic.
