Tenkeyless Layout Hotswap Keyboard Kit

Skyloong GK87, also known as the Epomaker GK87 kit is designed with the most popular tenkeyless layout to be more suitable for traditional typing habit. It is equipped with hot swappable terminals, with which you could install the switches directly without soldering. It’s compatible with Cherry MX switches, Kailh switches and Gateron switches and any other 3 pin or 5 pin switches. You can easily build up your own mechanical keyboard with this kit.

3 Layers Fully Programmable

Custom is not just a word. We make it true. Here you can reach micro settings. Simply download the driver and you will be able to program the backlight and macro settings. Built-in flash memory can save the setting at offline mode, never afraid of losing it.

16.8 Million RGB Backlight and Music Mode

Switches are okay

For the price the switches are fine. Fairly smooth to type on, a low pitch switch. I "hard swapped" them and soldered them on to a keyboard PCB. On my first attempt I broke the PCB so had to unsolder them. I resoldered them to another board and they still worked okay. So hardy surviving a iron at max temp. Again for the price good for the beginner who is looking to solder switches.

Nice switch and great service from Orbit

The reality of switches is is not really the sound but the feel the is the key factor. Watching a You Tube video cannot help you with this. The switches are fine and diffuse the led lights making if softer. Service from orbit was first class.

Good service

Can't report on the 4090, hardly used it yet. As the other reviewer mentioned, definitely needs its anti-sag bracket, it's a monster! Easier to remove than I thought it would be and on my board it doesn't cover any of the headers, which is great, although you need to fit your SSDs first. Took ages to get the 12VPWR cable routed though.

A good power supply

My friends were trying to persuade me that I should get a higher rated power supply, but I ignored them, since I knew this one would be fine for the job. While it would be nice for there to be a lower rated power supply with monitoring functionality, I'm not too bothered. At least this one was (in comparative terms) cheap.
