The Jonsbo N1 offers the ability to build a server with huge amounts of storage potential with a small footprint, thanks to its diminutive size and ability to stand vertically. This stylish, brushed aluminium case contains a drive bay that can hold up to five 3.5" hard drives. The chassis has the capacity to house a Mini-ITX motherboard, 70mm CPU cooler, and 185mm low-profile GPU. To maintain the internal hardware at peak performance, a pre-installed 140mm fan is situated at the front of the case to direct airflow along all components.
The Jonsbo N1 boasts an amazing storage potential thanks to its innovative design, making it an ideal choice for a NAS server. The front of the case is capable of holding five 3.5" hard drives that are easy to install and remove from the drive cage. Simply attach two of the runners and one of the handles to the HDD, and it’ll slide into one of the five slots. These handles make removing the drive effortless with just a quick pull. Furthermore, with space to house a 2.5" SSD at the top of the case, you can store your OS on a faster drive. Alongside this, the N1 also is able to accommodate all the hardware for a fully functioning PC. There is space for a 170mm x 170mm Mini-ITX motherboard, a 185mm low profile GPU, and a 150mm SFX PSU.
The Jonsbo N1 looks impressive from every angle. This is thanks to its two-piece design, made up of an inner steel frame and outer aluminium shell. By utilising this layout, Jonsbo have created a stylish case with only the ventilation and I/O breaking up the clean lines. Meanwhile, the inner frame easily slides out of the shell after releasing a pair of thumb screws. This gives unhindered access for installing and maintaining internal components. Furthermore, the N1 has two ways that it can be set up. Firstly, it can be laid horizontally on its non-slip base. Secondly, with the included feet, it can be stood vertically.
The Jonsbo N1’s innovative design allows for excellent airflow to maintain all of its internal components at peak performance. The outer shell acts as a wind tunnel to direct all airflow from the front along all vital components contained within. This airflow is created by a 140mm fan housed at the front of the case. Furthermore, to keep the CPU cool, this case has 70mm of clearance to fit an air cooler.
